I've seen both Julie and Dr. Heather at this practice and everyone has been so friendly, comforting, and kind, from the office cat, reception, techs, and providers. Very gender-affirming practice for non-cis people seeking care, and always supportive of the direction I want to take my care.

This place publishes that they are accepting new patients, but they are not. You cannot say you are accepting new patients and then also say you are scheduling 15 months out... not a thing. Premera, my insurance, lists them as providers accepting new patients, and I know I don't need a referral to see a specialist. However, this clinic's policy is that you need a referral regardless of what your insurance says. As someone who used to work checking people's insurance, it is a 2-minute phone call to someone's insurance to see if they need a referral or not, easily verifiable, and it saves women days, if not weeks, trying to get an appointment somewhere else just for a piece of paper they DON'T technically need. This place is not interested in helping people get health care; they are only interested in putting up roadblocks so women give up and don't get the care they need.

Julie has been great to work with from day one, and I've seen her for over 5 years. I'm FTM, and she and her staff have all been wonderful. The front desk staff changed a couple years ago, and while I didn't have a problem with the old staff, the new ones are both really nice and super helpful. I love going somewhere where the staff and practitioners actually recognize me and care about my wellbeing.

I've been seeing Julie for years for Ftm Transgender care and she has been amazing to work with. Always seems excited when new steps have happened in my life. Haven't been able to get in due to my work schedule in a while but finally was able to schedule an appointment soon and I'm looking forward to seeing her again with exciting new news.

Glad to have right insurance to start going back here because they made me feel welcome and comfortable. Hope to continue to go to them for general care and to see the office kitty. Will miss Dr. Campbell and didnβt work with Dr. Dyrbo too much but she was nice the time(s) I did visit.

I am a trans male and I have been seeing Julie for over 2 yrs. I am extremely comfortable with her and I can disagree and she'll stop, look at me and ask why. She thinks about it, we discuss it. Some I win, some she wins. It's an open, honest patient relationship. Amber is extremely good. She does the internal meds stuff. She interacts with me well. Diemeri, Amy, Katie. They're great and just as attentive as Julie and Amber. These guys are simply not afraid to practice medicine. Thanks guys, I appreciate all of you!

I'm a trans man undergoing HRT. Julie has been helpful, and is the only doctor I know willing to do pellet insertion for testosterone. This has been immensely helpful, as both I and my husband have trouble doing the shots anymore. The pellets are less painful, less frequent, and have more gradual ups and downs. I have yet to find another doctor who will administer them. My insurance does not cover trans related care, but they have been very helpful at walking me through costs. The one downside is how expensive the blood draws are becoming. But that is not the fault of the Doctor's office. Julie is kind and has been extremely accommodating and reasonable. She can be a bit scatterbrained at times, but she means well and is one of the few doctors in the area who treats her trans clients with the respect they deserve.

First off: I'm a trans man. I went to Julie Dybbro when I first started testosterone therapy. All seemed fine. However, she put me on WAY too low of a dose, and when I asked if I could do my shots more frequently, she refused. She said we'd have to see how this dose worked (it clearly didn't, I was still getting my period). When I had shot anxiety, she gave me an ultimatum of doing my shots or she'd switch me to testosterone gel (which my insurance didn't cover). That was it for me. I started seeing Jamie Nixon at Capital Family & Sports Medicine, and she's MUCH better. Hasn't pressured me to do anything, and has me go in for regular blood draws (which are done in her building). TL;DR, don't waste your time seeing Julie Dybbro if you are a trans man seeking testosterone therapy.
